Mrs. Julie Segura Craven, 71, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday morning, July 31, 2022, at her residence.

Born May 4, 1951, in Walterboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Warren and the late Betty Robertson Warren.   She was a member of the sales and marketing team at US Foods where she worked for over thirty years.  She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Walterboro and was a member of the Colleton County Athletic Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2021 for excelling while a member of the Wildcat’s Basketball team.   She always centered her life around her family and others.  Family was always her life and the larger her family, the happier she was.   She will always be remembered for her nurturing spirit and always positive outlook on life. 

Surviving are: her husband of twenty-eight years, Mr. Jerry M. Craven, Jr.; four children, Jamie Iriel (Victoria) of Simpsonville, Michael Craven (Holly) of Walterboro, Justin Craven (Jessica) of Walterboro, and Jordan Craven (Stephanie) of Walterboro; a brother, Chuck Segura of Walterboro; eleven grandchildren, Patrick Iriel, Noah Iriel, Parker Craven, Natalie Craven, Lacee Lee, Hunter Lee, Jayce Brooks, Skylar Craven, Justin Craven, Peyton Craven, and Sawyer Craven; as well as a host of nieces, and nephews to include ones she raised as her own, Bradley, Carter, Kyler, Tyler, Bentley, Brianna, and Madison. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, August 3, 2022, from Victory Baptist Church, 161 Maple Ridge Road, Walterboro.  Pastor Jerome Hodge officiating.  Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Churchyard, 152 Ruffin Road, Walterboro.
