<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;">Richard A. “Ricky” Somers, age 71, Logansport, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022, in his residence.</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;">Born April 28, 1951, in LaPorte, he was the son of Richard O. and Mary K. Russell Somers.</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;">Ricky was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and a Third Degree member of St. Francis of Assisi Council #561, Knights of Columbus, Logansport.</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;">A 1969 graduate of Logansport High School, Ricky had been employed at Tyson Foods. He enjoyed visiting people around town. He was a jokester, enjoyed playing the lottery and collecting aluminum cans.</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;">Surviving are his siblings, Judith (David) Williamson, Harold (Robin) Somers, David W. Somers, William (Connie) Somers; several nieces and nephews.</span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;">Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Kroeger Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, also at the funeral home, with Fr.
