OBITUARY FOR STEVE MARSHALL MCLELLAND<br><br>Steve Marshall McLelland of Mooresville, North Carolina, passed peacefully July 28, 2022 after <br>bravely battling with several illnesses for several weeks.<br>Steve was a jokester almost up to the end of his life when his wife of thirty-five years asked him<br>to open his eyes in the hospital and he closed them even tighter then he opened them wide and <br>gave her a big smile. <br><br>Steve was born in Statesville, North Carolina on April 20, 1953 to Elizabeth and Archie <br>McLelland, Steve proved to be a challenge with his mischievous antics which followed him <br>throughout his life. He was an outdoor adventurer, interested in fishing, nature, woodworking, <br>and learning all he could about the Scotch-Irish and native American cultures. Steve, the fourth <br>of six children: two brothers, Archie Eugene McLelland, and Russell Brian McLelland; and four <br>sisters, Elizabeth Geraldine McLelland-McDade, Joy Lynn McLelland-Garnett, and Ginger Kay <br>McLelland, and their spouses. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Viola McLelland, his <br>blended family of six sons and one daughter, Jason, Jerame, Marshall, Andre, Ontario, Aaron, <br>and Candi, and their families. As well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Steve Marshall McLelland of Mooresville, North Carolina, passed peacefully July 28, 2022 after
bravely battling with several illnesses for several weeks.
Steve was a jokester almost up to the end of his life when his wife of thirty-five years asked him

Steve was born in Statesville, North Carolina on April 20, 1953 to Elizabeth and Archie
McLelland, Steve proved to be a challenge with his mischievous antics which followed him
