Mildred Irene (Holler) Kline

Cumberland, MD – Mildred Irene (Holler) Kline, 102, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016, at her home. Born February 17, 1913, in New Buena Vista, PA, Mrs. Kline was the daughter of the late Oscar W. Holler and Blanche L. (Hilligass) Holler.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Nile Kline; her brothers:  Donald, Paul, Glenn, and Claude Holler; and her sisters:  Ruth Holler and Anna Lee (Holler) Moore. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Mildred work and retired from the Celanese Fibers Corporation of America.  She was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church and the McKinley Chapter #12 Order of the Eastern Star. Mildred is survived by her son: Glendon N. Kline, Cumberland, MD; her grandchildren: Tracy Kline and friend, Chuck Kifer; Glenn M. Kline; Monica Bensavage, all of Cumberland, MD; and David Kline and wife, Wendy, Mount Savage, MD.  She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Jordon Kline, Ben Bensavage, Rebecca Bensavage, Megan Kline, Nathaniel Kline, and Jesseca Kline; her step granddaughter: Samantha Robey; her sister-in-law: Fay Diehl and her son, Ronald Paul Holler and his wife, Sally; and her nieces: Barbara Holler and family and Missy Plummer and family. Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.  A funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Marsha Garrett officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers of the WMHS-Hospice Care Unit and a special thanks to our cousin, Tracy Root. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Mildred’s name to Shriners’ Children Hospital, c/o: Ali Ghan Temple, Post Office Box #1416, Cumberland, MD 21501-1416 Hospital; or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Saint Jude Tribute Program, Post Office Box #100, Dept. #142, Memphis, TN  38148-0142 (www.stjude.org).
