William E. Miller, Jr. of St. Albans went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family after a long illness. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; William E. Miller Sr. and Laura May Miller, siblings Delores McKee and Susan Caish. He worked at Union Carbide and was a member of Nitro Church of Christ. Bill loved to hunt, fish, work on old cars and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, William E. Miller III of Springboro, Ohio and Matthew Miller (Jaime) of Poca; granddaughters, Taylor Currier, Lexi, Emma and Addie Miller; grandsons, Colton, Zack and Lukas Miller; siblings, Barbara Figuerido, Patricia Miller, Rose Kinder, Mary Massey and Michael Miller, Sr. as well as several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 11:30am Saturday August 13, 2022 at Nitro Church of Christ, with Minister Andy Shamblin officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to HospiceCare of Charleston, WV. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice nurse Stacey Jarrett and aides, Kristen Thornton and Brittany Hall.
