Thomas Jeffrey Rosensteel, 67, of Hershey, peacefully passed away on  July 26, 2022 after a lengthy illness. Born in Hershey on December 17, 1954, he was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Hulings) Rosensteel. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Leslie E. Smith.

Jeff was a graduate of Hershey High School class of 1972 and received his Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. He had been the owner operator of Reliable Services Moving. Jeff had also been employed at Penn Hershey Moving & Storage and most recently was the Director of Maintenance at the Grace United Methodist Church in Hummelstown. He coached soccer for both Hershey Middle School and Hershey High School boys and girls for a collective 18 years. He was inducted into the Hershey High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018, nominated as Coach of the Year in 2010, and won a state title in 2010.

Jeff coached his daughters in softball and soccer and was always a fierce supporter for all of their endeavors.  He was always a devoted family man. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.  He was an avid Pittsburgh fan and loved watching hockey, baseball, basketball and football.  

Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Barb (Bowders) Rosensteel, three daughters, Erin Rosensteel, Mallory, wife of Jason McDermott and Meghan, wife of Dennis Schoch; six grandchildren, Jane & Harris Wrenn, Caden & Jordan McDermott, Jack & Benjamin Schoch; brother in law, Harold J. Smith.

Celebration of his life will be held at the Grace United Methodist Church in Hummelstown at 3pm on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Visitation will begin at 1:30. There will also be a visitation on Wednesday evening, August 3 from 6:00-8:00pm at the church.
