Richard G. Chasse "Dick"

Rochester – Richard G. Chasse “Dick”, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Rochester Manor. Born on November 2, 1943 in Rochester, Richard was the son of the late Albert and Lucy “Dubois” Chasse. Following graduation from Spaulding High School, Dick joined the United States Army and served his country honorably for 3 years. From there, he went on to work as a Purchasing Agent for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and held that position for over 17 years. Dick was also a dedicated member of American Legion Post #7 for many years. Along with his parents, Dick is preceded in death by his siblings. Surviving are his children, Michael Chasse and Michelle Chasse; beloved caretaker, Beth Grondin and Jamie Miller; and a host of neighbors and friends whom he loved dearly. Dick will also like to thank Cornerstone VNA His nurses Melody, Jean, Ray his chaplain Maureen and most of all his caring hardworking social worker Kristie… A graveside service will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 2, 2022at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Rochester followed by military honors.
