Joan A. Gaffney

GAFFNEY, Joan A. (nee Ackley), passed away on July 26, 2022. She was 86. Joan was the beloved wife of the late James R. Gaffney. Loving mother of Robert Battersby and his wife, Veronica, Kevin Gaffney and his wife, Joy and Sean Gaffney and his wife, Irene. Devoted grandmother of Adam and Mike Battersby, John, Kailey, Colin, James, Elizabeth and Daniel Gaffney. She is the dear sister of the late William Ackley, Robert Ackley and his wife, Rita and dear sister in law of Joyce Ackley. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joan was a longtime resident of Marlton and an active member of St. Joan of Arc Parish. She was employed with Met Life in Marlton and TeleNex (formerly General Signal) in Mt. Laurel for years. She enjoyed her job, loved her friends and church but most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday from 8:45-10am at the Bradley Funeral Home 601 Rt. 73 South Marlton NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30am at St. Joan of Arc Church Willow Bend Rd. Marlton. Interment to follow at New St. Maryand#39;s Cemetery, Bellmawr. If desired, donations may be made in Joanand#39;s memory to St. Joan of Arc Church 100 Willow Bend Road Marlton NJ 08053
