Norma Freeman

NORMA J. FREEMAN, age 84, of Piqua, went to be with the Lord at 12:10 PM on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Tolesburg, KY on November 25, 1937 to the late Claude and Mary (Bobbitt) Elders On June 26, 1955 in Piqua, OH she married Norman S. Freeman. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2019. Norma is survived by one daughter-in-law: Becky Freeman, Piqua, OH; one sister Wanda Hamlin, Piqua, OH; six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons: Donald Freeman and Larry Freeman; six brothers; three sisters, one granddaughter, two great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchildren. Norma was a member of Piqua Freewill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loved to read books. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday July 30, 2022 at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua, OH with Pastor Dennie Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. Friends may call from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
