John Sidney Franklin

John Sidney Franklin, 67, departed this life on July 25, 2022 surrounded by the ones he loved. He was born in Paris, KY to the late Johnny and Betty Lawrence Franklin. He was a retired hotel manager trouble shooter for Motel Six, member of Spears Mill Baptist Church, Paris, KY and a graduate of Bourbon County High School. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Winn Franklin and Marty (Mike) Scenters; niece, Jamie (Jay) Brown; nephew, Shea Scenters; five great nieces and nephews, Ariel Brown, Benjamin Brown, Katie Scenters, Harleigh Scenters and Michael Scenters and a very special and loving friend Chuck Turner and his loyal sidekick Max. The family would like to thank the Bluegrass Care Navigators for all their help and care that they gave to John and the family during this time. Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday July 29, 2022 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Shea Scenters and Phillip Franklin. Burial will follow in the Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Friday July 29, 2022 until the hour of service at the funeral home. Pallbearer will be Jamie Brown.
