Donald (Don) Stockley

Passed peacefully away at the Bonnews Lodge nursing home, New West Valley, Donald (Don) Stockley of Trinity, NL in his 79th year.
Predeceased by parents Jim and Effie Stockley(Brown) And Uncle Jacob and Aunt Rita Stockley, Trinity,NL, as well as brother Harvey Stockley.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, Sister Effie Carter (Bill) Nephew, Bryan Stiefel, ( Melissa) and their two children, Marcus and Nolan; Nieces Natalie Carter; Denise Stockley(Andre’)
Children, Mason and Marless and Nephew Terry Stockley, (Joanne) and daughter Charlotte.
Aunt Abbie Whey of Gander, NL.

Also left to mourn Karen Oram and the entire staff and resident family at Oram’s, who cared and loved Don as much as he loved them, from the first day they met at Oram’s Emmanuel Manor in 2005. As well as a large number of extended family and friends.

Don spent the first 19 years of his life living in trinity with his parents until he moved to Eastport to live with Uncle Jacob and Aunt Rita. Don enjoyed living in Eastport with them Until he moved to Porterville care Home in Browns Arm, NL. In 2005, Don moved to Oram’s Emmanuel Manor Gambo, and quickly became one of the most amazing residents of the Oram’s home family. Don enjoyed 17 years, living at the home until his level of care increased to the point that he was not able to return to the home that he loved so much. Heartbroken in May 2022, he moved to Bonews Lodge Nursing home, New Wes Valley, NL, where he received exceptional care.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28th, 2022 from 7pm-9pm, at Oram’s Funeral Home, Glovertown. Interment at The Holy Cross Cemetery, Eastport,NL.
