<p><strong>Judith Ann Buford, age 82, died Monday July 25th 2022 following numerous illnesses.&nbsp;Judi was born September 11, 1939 in Bayfield Colorado.&nbsp; She was the daughter of Vincent Percell and Helen Duvall.&nbsp; She attended school in the Denver Area.</strong></p> <p><strong>Judi was mother to four sons.&nbsp; When the boys were young, Judi loved being a stay-at-home mom, and was always participating in the boy&rsquo;s activities.&nbsp; She was Cub Scout Den Mother, and helped with many soccer and baseball teams.&nbsp; She was the type of mother who always spent many hours creating holiday craft projects for her boys and nieces.&nbsp; Such projects included sugar molded Easter eggs, gingerbread houses, and home sewn Halloween costumes.</strong></p> <p><strong>On Valentine&rsquo;s Day 1981, Judith married Gordon R. Buford, and remained married to him until her passing.</strong></p> <p><strong>Besides being a wonderful wife &amp; mother, Judi was a much-loved Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Mother-in-law.&nbsp; She was even an extended mother to many of the neighborhood kids.</strong></p> <p><strong>Judi was employed by numerous companies, most notably the Bank of Grand Junction where she was a loan closer, Ladd &amp; Associates, and finally as the office administrator for Western Piling &amp; Caisson, a company owned and ran by her husband and late father-in-law.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;Judi had a real love of flower gardening.&nbsp; There were many times a member of the family would have to convince her to leave her flowers to come and eat dinner, or that the sun had long set on the horizon.&nbsp; Even after losing her sight, she constantly was asking her youngest son which flowers had blossomed.&nbsp; She also enjoyed the occasional fishing outing with her husband, as well as southwestern pottery and turquoise jewelry.</strong></p> <p><strong>Judith is survived by her husband, Gordon Buford, brother Neal (Eileen), Sister Carol (Brad), sons, Scott Lemke, Kelly Lemke, Mike Lemke (Clarisa), &amp; Todd Lemke, 2 Grandsons, 2 Granddaughters, Great Granddaughter Kaydence, Great Grandsons Kyrin &amp; Kelly.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;Memorial service will be held at Brown&rsquo;s Cremation and Funeral Services at 904 N. 7th Street, Grand Junction Colorado.&nbsp; Services will take place on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 1pm.</strong></p> <p><strong>Services have been entrusted to Browns Cremation and Funeral Services.&nbsp;</strong></p>

Judith Ann Buford, age 82, died Monday July 25th 2022 following numerous illnesses. Judi was born September 11, 1939 in Bayfield Colorado.  She was the daughter of Vincent Percell and Helen Duvall.  She attended school in the Denver Area.
