Bobby L Morgan, 74, of Wakeman, died Monday, July 25, 2022 at his home after a sudden illness.

 

He was born December 9, 1947 in Morgantown, WV and had been a Vermilion area resident for the past 40 years.

 

Bobby was a veteran of the US Navy serving during Vietnam.

 

Bobby worked as an Electrician for Ford Motor Co. Lorain and Avon for 35 years, retiring in 2010.  He had also worked for Volkswagen, New Stanton, PA as an Electrician before starting with Ford.

 

Bobby had been a Mason and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeders in his yard.  He also enjoyed working on old cars, playing cards, going to casinos, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers.   

 

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia (nee Lord) Morgan of Wakeman; daughter, Jennifer Morgan of NC; son, Steven (Kelly) Morgan of AZ; grandchildren; Dylan and Shelby Morgan and Abigail and Leja Racut; brothers, Claude "Moe" (Kathy) Morgan of Morgantown, WV and Mel Morgan of Point Marion, PA; his sister, Linda Morgan of Morgantown, WV; and many nieces and newphews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Evelyn (nee Powers) Morgan and his sister-in-law, Carol Morgan.    

 

A Celebration of Life will be held for Bobby in Morgantown, WV at a later date.
