Marilyn C Peterson

<p>Marilyn “Bonnie” Peterson was born in Chester Hospital to Lewis L. Peterson and Alma White Selby on Christmas Eve 1948. She attended Franklin and Dewey Mann schools. She was a member of the class of 1967 at Chester High School.</p><p><br></p><p>Her first job was cleaning the morgue at Crozer Chester Medical Center, after autopsies. She worked at Swarthmore College as an Environmental Technician for 30 years until she was forced to retire due to an accident. She enjoyed cooking and was famous for her coleslaw, lasagna, and 7-Up cakes. She enjoyed playing cards, watching her favorite shows, and going to the casino with her friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Marilyn passed away peacefully in her sleep after fighting a brief illness.</p><p><br></p><p>She s survived by her children, Trayce L. Peterson, and Jada S. Peterson; two brothers; one sister; two sisters-in-law; two grandsons; four great-grands- Seoui K. Williams, Taraji A. Williams, Jeron V. Williams, and Jalen Williams. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her “special children,” Antoinette “Anna” Wages who preceded her in death; Michelle D. Glasscoe, who she talked to everyday. Danni Smith her “love pockets” when she fussed with regularly. Then there are Bonnie’s Boys, the boys she watched grown into men that she cared for and loved her greatly- Quintin O. Irvin, Jr., Marcus W. Harper (who called her “SugaMama”) Marvin “Twin” Harper, Sean R. Myers, Robert Warring Jr., Jeffery K. Glascoe, Khari Robinson, Isaac J. Nicholson, Gary Richardson Jr.; her “girls” who kept her going, Jenniffer K. Foster, who cooked for her; her “Nay Nay”, LaNay M. Nicholson and her “Whit, Whitney L. Nicholson who called and visited her regularly; Terri Coleman who name her “Missy”; Nina Hudnell, her casino buddy and friend for over 40 years; Geneva Alvin, her childhood neighbor and friend for over 60 years;</p><p><br></p><p>She also leaves two uncles, Donald L. Selby, and Robert Selby; her favorite aunt, Josephine Selby; her closest cousin, Darlene “Doll” Wade, and a host of other relatives and associates. She was loved by so many people and touch many lives. She will be sorely missed. </p><p><br></p>
