Adela Alvarez Guzman, 82 formerly of Yorktown, passed away, Saturday, July 23, 2022. She was born on December 13, 1939, in Nordheim, Texas, to the late Aladin and Inez Vela Alvarez. <br><br>Adela is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan Guzman; daughter, Martha Caudillo.<br><br>She is survived by her son, Richard Guzman and wife Delia; daughters, Diane Garza and Cynthia Vasquez; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, Alex Alvarez and Elisandro Alvarez and wife Tomasita; sister, Viola Perez and husband Ismo; numerous nieces and nephews. <br><br>Memorial Service will be at the Primera Iglesia Bautista Church 2:00pm Tuesday, July 26, 2022, with Pedro Garza III officiating. <br><br>Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.<br><br>Services are entrusted with Finch Funeral Chapel-Yorktown.Obituary
