<p><span style="font-size:26px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Virginia Dare Chase Fox, age 88, of Pensacola Road, passed away Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. A native of Yancey County, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Eloise Riddle Chase.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:26px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Left to cherish her loving memory is her husband of 71 years, William Carter Fox; daughters: Victoria Chase Fox of Baltimore, MD and Liza Rosemond Fox (Tim Hensley) of Burnsville; sons: William Tyrone Fox of Concord, NC, and Jeff Carter Fox of Arlington, VA; two grandchildren, Charles Alexander Elsaesser (Serena) and Christopher Michael Elsaesser (Tiffany), both of Spruce Pine; seven great-grandchildren: Seth Elsaesser, Zachary Elsaesser, Emily Elsaesser, Peyton Elsaesser, Erin Elsaesser, Elijah Stamey, and Adam Elsaesser.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:26px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 29th, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burnsville, NC. Interment will follow in the Academy Cemetery in Burnsville, NC.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:26px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;">Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home is respectfully serving the Fox family.</span></span></p>
