Dave Reeves
<p>Howard David Reeves was born in Rushville, Nebraska, December 22, 1952, to Howard and Mildred (Eckholt) Reeves. He passed away at his home in Gordon on July 21, 2022.</p> <p>He graduated from Assumption Catholic School in Chadron in 1971. In 1975 he joined the US Army and was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. He was honorably discharged in 1979. While he was stationed in Alaska, he met Linda and they were later married in 1980. Together they raised two sons, Troy and Andy. Dave enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and grandchildren.</p> <p>Dave was preceded in death by his father Howard, mother Mildred and nephew Kevin Krotz. He is survived by his wife Linda, his sons Troy (Jaimie) and Andy (Ashley), grandchildren Maison, Alexis, Wesley, Laci and Jude Reeves. Also, his sisters Mary and Ann, sister-in-law Becky (Robert) Saucedo and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022, 4:00 PM at the Reeves’s Residence north of Rushville. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Rushville or Gordon Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad and donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343.</p>Obituary
