Healdton - Memorial Services for Mr. Paul Hammon, 77 of Moore are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton with Jon Lofton officiating. The family will be allowing a time for others to speak at the funeral if you wish to speak.

Paul was born March 2, 1945 in Healdton, OK to the late Mr. Augustus "Gus" Earl Hammon and Mrs. Jessie Helen (Thompson) Hammon. He departed from this life on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at his home in Moore.

Paul was raised in Healdton attending school there. He married Ms. Diana Sharp on August 16, 1962 in Wichita Falls, TX and together they were married 1 month exactly to their 60th anniversary. Paul worked as a mechanic at R.C. Milligan Dealership and Fryer Motor Parts and then went on to work for Phillips Petroleum for 25 years before he retired. He also was a volunteer fireman at Healdton Fire Dpt for 20 years and a paid fire man for 2 years. Paul enjoyed working and was skilled as a mechanic, electrician and carpenter. He was also motivated to learn new things and always had to be doing something.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Jim, Kenneth and Jake Hammon.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diana of the home; daughters, Shelley Bearden and husband Mark of Milo, Staci Benton and husband Brett of Tulsa, and Starla Cunningham and husband Scott of Lone Grove; sisters, JoAnn VanBuskirk of Lone Grove, Laverne Henley of Seadrift, TX and Sharon Wigham of Healdton; grandchildren, Chance Bearden and wife Kara, Nic Bearden and wife Paige, Connor Barnhart, Morgan Cunningham, Jake Cunningham, Barrett Benton, and Bailey Benton; great grandchildren, Emery, Nova, and Cole Bearden; fur baby, SissiBelle aka Bella; grand dog, Honey and by a host of other family and friends.
