<p>It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Leighton Grandy of Garnish announces his passing. Leighton passed away at Blue Crest Interfaith Home in Grand Bank on Saturday, July 16th, 2022 at the age of 76. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his brothers Bruce (Theresa), Garnish, Charles (Ruby), Frenchman’s Cove, Bernard (Marceda), Garnish, and Ray, Garnish; sisters Louetta Croft (Terry), Liscombe, NS, Bertha May, Dartmouth, NS and Effie May, Dartmouth, NS; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>Leighton is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Emma Grandy, brothers Randy and Darrell, sister Rowena, brothers in law Phillip and Lawrence May, sister in law Patricia Grandy and friend Juanita.</p><p><br></p><p>The Grandy Family will be accepting visitors at Salvation Army Citadel, Garnish on Sunday, July 17 from 7 pm – 9 pm, and Monday, July 17, 2022 from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Garnish on Tuesday, July 19 at 10 am.
