Mathew Vernon Hutchins, 35, of Austin, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 8, 2022, in Clarksville, IN. Mathew was born on Saturday, March 7, 1987, in New Albany, IN. He is the son of Pastor Mitchell S. Hutchins of Lexington, IN, and Laverne Loretta Hutchins of Austin, IN. Mathew was a graduate of Restoration Christian Academy. He was trained as an electrical maintenance worker when he worked for Harland Clarke printing company in Jeffersonville, IN, and was employed there for over ten years. He was a member of Lexington Christian Church and enjoyed reading, working out, riding motorcycles, working on mechanical things, playing board games, and solving problems. He was also a talented artist and liked to draw Anime. He cherished and loved his son very much, thought of him as the most important person in his life, and was his number one priority. Survivors include his parents, Pastor Mitchell S. Hutchins of Lexington, IN, Laverne Loretta (Cope) Hutchins of Austin, IN, 1 son, Elijah Hutchins of Austin, IN, and 3 brothers, Johnathan Levi Hall of Austin, IN, Mitchell Luke Hutchins of Austin, IN, and Evan Alexander Hutchins of Henryville, IN.
