Scott Drake Beattie<br> Feb 26, 1973- July 13, 2022<br><br> Scott, son of John and Mary Beattie was raised in Arvada, CO.<br> He attended Vanderhoof Elementary, Drake Middle, and Arvada West<br> High School. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Paul. As a<br> child, he enjoyed playing with his brother and his neighborhood pals, playing <br> soccer, and participating in Boy Scouts. Scott earned the rank of Eagle Scout. <br><br> He attended Western State College and earned an Associate of Arts Degree in video<br> production from Colorado Institue of Art. If anyone needed help, Scott was there to lend a<br> helping hand. He was an avid sports fan, cheering for the Broncos, Rockies and Avs. <br> He was a music lover and fan of Pink Floyd and the Grateful Dead. He was a Star<br> Wars freak and watched the movies many times. <br><br> Scott suffered from health problems for the last few years, becoming weaker. On July 13 his <br> heart finally had enough. He was able to donate tissue, eyes, and bone and will be helping up <br> to 75 people. <br><br> A service honoring Scott with be held on July 29 at 10:00 A.M. at Christ the King Episcopal <br> Church, 6490 Carr St. in Arvada. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Ralston House, <br> Donor Alliance, Community Table, or Boy Scouts Denver Area Council. <br><br> "May The Force Be With You"

Scott Drake Beattie
Feb 26, 1973- July 13, 2022

Scott, son of John and Mary Beattie was raised in Arvada, CO.
He attended Vanderhoof Elementary, Drake Middle, and Arvada West
High School. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Paul. As a
child, he enjoyed playing with his brother and his neighborhood pals, playing
soccer, and participating in Boy Scouts. Scott earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

He attended Western State College and earned an Associate of Arts Degree in video
production from Colorado Institue of Art. If anyone needed help, Scott was there to lend a
