John E. Kenney, IV

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">John E. Kenney, IV, 67, of Harrisville, RI&nbsp;passed away on June 29, 2022&nbsp;at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.&nbsp;He was the son of Judith (Pires) Benevides and the late John E. Kenney, III.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;He formerly lived in&nbsp;Warwick, RI. John was the husband of Loreen (Lori) Angelo Kenney</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;John worked for Estes Trucking as both a local and over-the-road truck driver prior to his retirement in December of 2021. He was also a New England Teamster for many years.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Daniel and Matthew Kenney as well as his two daughter-in-laws, Carrie Kenney and Lisa Belshaw&nbsp; all from Burrillville.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;He was the loving grandfather to his three grandchildren, Tyler and Bianca Kenney and Brady Belshaw.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;He also leaves behind his siblings, Joseph J. Kenney of E. Providence, Jeffrey G. Kenney of Burrillville, Manuel J. &ldquo;Manny&rdquo; Benevides of Los Angeles., Carlos F. Benevides of NY., Kimberly (Larry) Benevides Busteed of Coventry along with many nieces and nephews.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Mathieu.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">He was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast participating in many charity bike runs. He also liked SCUBA diving, golf, cigars, puttering around in the garage drinking beer and always enjoyed a good whiskey.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">He was a proud marine that served during the Vietnam era.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;">Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;">A Memorial bike run will start at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Burrillville High School , Due to unforseen circumstances&nbsp;the celebration of life scheduled for 2 &ndash; 8 PM at&nbsp;180 Colwell Road, Harrisville, RI 02830 (Casual attire) has been canceled.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;">&nbsp;In lieu of flowers, donation in memory of John can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project</span></p>

John E. Kenney, IV, 67, of Harrisville, RI passed away on June 29, 2022 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. He was the son of Judith (Pires) Benevides and the late John E. Kenney, III.

 He formerly lived in Warwick, RI. John was the husband of Loreen (Lori) Angelo Kenney
