Bruce Alston, 70, of Washington D.C. passed away on July 8, 2022, at Brantwood Nursing Home. He was born in Franklin County to Mary Gregory Alston and the late Norman Alston Sr. A service will be held at 11am, Monday, July 18, 2022, in the Chapel of Davis - Royster Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 1:30pm-4pm, Saturday, July 16, 2022, in the funeral home. Survivors include his daughter, Tiondra Perry, his mother, Mary Alston, and his siblings, Faye Alston, Norman Alston (Evelyn), and Bobby Alston (Mary Helen), and a host of other relatives.
