Funeral service for Mrs. Catherine “Katy” Boswell, 87 of Alexandria, will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Daniel Harper and Rev. James Cohorn will be officiating. Burial will follow the service in Ragland United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Boswell was born June 15, 1935, in Conway, Mo to parents Lawrence and Lucille Hendrix who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Frank Boswell. Mrs. Boswell passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at her home in Alexandria. She is survived by her grandchildren, James (Destani) Boswell and Travis (Courtney) Boswell; great grandchildren, Shyanne Boswell, Lane Boswell, Mason Boswell, and Ofelia Boswell; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmothers. She was an Air Force Veteran where she met and married her life partner, Frank Boswell. She was a member of Saks Baptist Church and loved the Lord.
