Deborah Ann Rowens

Deborah Ann Rowens, 63, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away July 8, 2022 at home. Born in Maryland and raised in St. Petersburg, she attended NorthEast High School, followed by career driven college courses. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert G. Rowens, and her siblings, Robert G. Rowens, Jr. and Gary B. Rowens. Deborah is survived by her mother, Barbara Ann Rowens, 91 of St. Petersburg, and her stepfather, James Johnson, 93, of St. Petersburg. She is also survived by 3 nieces, Rene Calloway, Sherry Hart, and Casey Rowens, and a nephew, Richard Rowens. She has 6 great nieces and nephews and 2 great, great nieces and nephews. And her most beloved cat, Hootie Rowens. Deborah was a very independent, spirited, and joyful person. She was an avid rock and roll fan, with Bon Jovi and the Rolling Stones being her favorites. Deborah had a giving heart, and always wanted to share it with others. Her beautiful smile, infectious laughter and love for life will be remembered by all who knew her. <br><br>Deborah’s viewing will be Thursday, July 14th, 2022 from 5 – 7 pm at Anderson McQueen at the Tyrone location on 38th Avenue. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 15th at 11 am at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter on 4th Street North, downtown St. Petersburg. A reception will follow the funeral procession at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home.
