Darolyn Lee Theel

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Darolyn Lee<br>Theel of Copalis Beach on 8 July, 2022 at the age of 48.<br><br>She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Jacob Colborn and Robert Thee and<br>Sierra Mishler, partner to Jacob who she viewed as her daughter; grandchildren Xaiver<br>and Ernest Colborn; sister's Angela Theel, Rhonda Barclay and Tiffany Emery; Aunt,<br>Erica Schlesser, Shawna, Haylee and Gunner Barclay, and Doc Holland; her father's<br>lifelong partner JanaDee Potvin and stepsisters' Stacey and Amanda Wilson; and<br>Numerous other family members and friends. She was the most self-less, caring friend<br>to all.<br><br>She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Glenna Danielson and Robert Theel.<br>Darolyn was a fierce woman-holding fast to her beliefs, defending those she loved, and<br>always seeking to better herself. She fought so hard her whole life, from Brain tumors to<br>breast cancer and continuously came out a survivor. Her strength was unparallel. She<br>had grown so much in the recent years and it truly is a tragedy she will not be here to<br>share her gifts with the world any longer.<br><br>She loved country living, loved collecting rocks and crystals from the riverbanks, and<br>smell goods as she called them. Her absolute favorite thing was spending time with her<br>grandchildren. Everywhere she went she would seek out turtles, for a turtle chest for her<br>first grandson, Xaiver. Out of everything she fought and conquered throughout her life,<br>her boys' where her utmost treasuer. Her eyes would light up just talking about them.<br>The energy she brought into any room was contagious and uplifting. She was kind,<br>generous and compassionate. Even when she spoke in anger, she was often the first to<br>apologize and to try to heal what was broken. She was fiercely independent and private<br>She loved her entire family, despite their quirks and dysfunction. She worried about<br>them, rooted for them, protected them, resented them, forgave them, and always kept<br>loving them.<br><br>A celebration of life or memorial service will be held at a later date.<br><br>The family wishes to spend special thanks to, Retired EMT, John P. Leising Jr. and<br>Steve Mon for their care and compassion.<br>
