Elisabeth Bakker<br><br>Peacefully at Bonnie Place Long Term Care, St. Thomas, formerly of London, on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the age of 92, Elisabeth (Betsy) Bakker. Beloved wife for 67 years of the late Pieter Bakker (2017). Loving mother of the late John Bakker and Eileen of Hedley, B.C., Betty and John VanderTuin of London, Joan and Steve Kernohan of London, Trudy and Peter Barber of Woodstock, Peter Bakker of Hedley, B.C. and the late Stephen Bakker (2018). Proud Oma of Pierce and Angie, Kathy, Jan and Sara, Keith and Lori, Kevin and Cheryl, Sarah and David, Corry and Jason, Mike and Sarah, Chris and Michelle, Erin and Ben, Marlise, Delina, Coen and Heidi, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Loved by her sisters, Willie and the late Truus, Luen, Marie and brother Frans in the Netherlands, sisters-in-law Corry Koetsier, Tina and Leigh MacMillan and Veronica Bakker. Betsy will be sorrowfully missed by her cousins Jim and Corrie Bakker. <br><br>Friends will be received at the McFarlane &amp; Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, London (519)652-2020, on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at Pond Mills Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to Brantwood Community Services, 25 Bell Lane, Brantford, Ontario N3T 1E1 or the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners. 435 Windermere Drive, London, Ontario N5X 2T1 gratefully acknowledged. Thank you Theo. I remember well that trip you took with Mom, Dad and Peter. We heard lots of funny stories. Mom had a knack for knowing when to help family when they needed it most.
