Steven Barnes, age 74, passed away at his home July 8, 2022. Originally from Ducktown, Tenn., he moved to Spring City, where he worked as a reactor operator at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant for many years. He was an avid gardener, golfer, and loved target shooting.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents: Frank Barnes and Billie Simmonds. He is survived by his children: Zak Barnes of Hixson, Tenn., and Luke (Cathy) Barnes of Dayton, Tenn., and  grandchildren: Jack, Wes, and Ben Barnes.

A memorial visitation will be held at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m.
