Hart, Mr.<br>Robert John Jr. <br>Fruitport<br><br>Mr. Robert J. Hart Jr, age 89 passed away peacefully on Friday July 8, 2022 at his residence. He was born on May 31, 1933 to Robert J. Hart Sr. and Agnus Powell in Muskegon, MI. He graduated from Muskegon Heights High School class of 1953. Robert married Shirley Maxine Baxter in 1953, cherishing 69 years of love and happiness. He was a proud veteran, serving his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Fort Sheridan Base in IL. Robert was a longtime member of Eastwood Church of The Nazarene, now called Connection Point Church for over 30 years. He was a board member, greeter, and joined the building maintenance team. Robert had been employed at the S.D. Warren Paper Mill for 37 years until retiring. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, ground keeping, repairing his Model T and other trucks he owned. He also enjoyed outdoor activities and building everything from household supplies to repairing cars and building a home for his family. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.<br><br>SURVIVORS<br>Wife, Shirley; Daughter, Rhonda (Jim) Jackson; grandchildren Roby, Ronald, Ryan, Amber, Josh; great grandchildren Hailey, Rachel; sisters Lynn, Liz and Lea; many extended family members and loved ones. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a son Roby Hart.<br><br>SERVICE<br>Tuesday, July 12, 2022, 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Aaron Gregory officiating.
