Margaret Lou Frye Monroe, 86 of Pinehurst, died on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late George B. and Nellie Hunsucker Frye of Carthage. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a young sister, Kay Frances; niece, Diane; grandniece, Christy and a nephew, Gary Dean.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Donald Monroe; daughter, Marsha Harms (Jerry) and son, Christopher; two brothers, Dale Frye (Nancy) and their son, Brandon; and Wes Frye (Swannie) and their son, Larry.

A graveside service will be held at Culdee Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:00AM with Pastor Rich Culp officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s memory to a charity of one’s choice. The family wish to express their gratitude for many kindnesses, evidenced in both thought and deed.

Services are entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Pinehurst.
