Calais – Pamela Sue Grant Ramsay, 52, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes in her home on July 3, 2022. Pamela was born in Calais on September 17, 1969, daughter of George and Vicki Grant.

Pamela graduated from Calais High School, Class of 1988, where she enjoyed chorus and participated in the C.N.A. program. She later became a C.N.A. at Barnard’s Nursing Home for many years. She met the love of her life, David Ramsay, and they married in 1999. They spent many happy years together with their beloved fur babies. Pamela was very kindhearted and loved her animals dearly.

Pamela was predeceased by her husband David; grandmother Virginia Grant; grandfather Charles White; grandmother Betty Galligan; and her brother Leslie Knowles II. Surviving are her parents, George and Vicki Grant of Alexander; grandmother Marguerite White of Calais; siblings Georgina Pryor of Houlton, Betty “BJ” Wallace and husband Joseph of Alexander, and George “Andy” Knowles of Calais; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family members.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Alexander Cemetery, Airline Road, Alexander. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
