Celebrating The Life of George Brown


George Brown was born on December 7th, 1960, in Philadelphia, PA. He became a resident of Chester, PA several decades ago, where he made his home. George was the son of Viola Louise and Albert Lester Brown, Sr., the fourth of nine children.


George was educated in the Philadelphia public schools’ system and received his GED via Job corps in Texas. Job corps is where George received his extensive training and his newfound love of carpentry. George skills, outgoing personality and great sense of humor led to a lifetime of relationships with his work family at Willow Gardens. He developed numerous friendships, work relationships throughout the Chester area.


George was a generous man with a big heart. He had a love for entertaining, cooking and eating crabs with family and friends. His greatest, love was playing pinochle and spades and bantering “with good humor”, especially while watching his favorite NFL team the “Dallas Cowboys”.


George departed this life on June 29th, 2022 and left behind to cherish his memories: His son’s George Graham and Nathaniel Graham, Daughters Nicole Graham and Georgetta Brown, 17 grandchildren, brother John Brown, sister’s Michelle Brown, Darlene Sharpe, Angela Wiggins and Sheila Brown and host of, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin and friends. George is proceeded in death by his Mother Viola Brown, sister Irene Foster and Brother’s James Johnson and Albert Brown.
