Virginia H. Goodlet, 75, wife of Sam Goodlet, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Clark Reginal Medical Center. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on December 5, 1946, to the late John W. Redd and Molly Hamilton Redd. Virginia was a dialysis Technician and cosmetologist. In addition to her loving husband of 55 years, she is survived by her daughter, Cindy Richardson (Steve); adopted daughter Tina Novella Newton; granddaughter, Samantha Jo Goodlet; grandson, Benjamin W. Goodlet; step granddaughter, Kayla Richardson; one brother, Wayne Redd (Debbie); two sisters, Anne Shoe and Linda Lay (Bruce). Service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Pastor James McIntosh. Burial will be held at 12:30PM, Monday, July 11, 2022, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until time of service.
