Jeannette Alexander, 77, of Waverly passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Absolute Care in Endicott. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Marguerite Beach Mick. Jeannette is survived by her children, Ron (Loree Scaglione) Donahue of Candor, Greg Donahue of VanEtten, Robert (Shellee) Donahue of TN and Amy Johnston of Sayre; brother, Robert Mick of WA; grandchildren, Ronnie, Evynn, Taya, Ryinn, Aryanna, Shayna, Jacob and Jordan; great grandchildren, Nova, Noah and Ian. Jeannette was born in Buffalo and graduated from VanEtten Central Schools. She worked many odd jobs and raised her family. She worked for several years at the family diner, Blue Collar Café in Owego as a server. She was an avid reader who wrote short stories and enjoyed playing casino computer games. She enjoyed being around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A time of calling will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 1 to 3 at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, New York. A memorial service to honor Jeannette’s life will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, New York.
