<p>Decie Russell Moody, 96, of Ramseur, died Monday, July 4, 2022 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.</p> <p>Funeral Services, 2 PM, Friday, July 8, 2022, at Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur.</p> <p>Officiating, Rev. Jason Baker, Rev. Leon Thompson.</p> <p>Burial, Randolph Memorial Park,, 4538 US Hwy 220 Business N., Asheboro.</p> <p>Decie was a native of Randolph County and lifelong resident of Ramseur. She worked at Weiman Furniture and for Ram Tie in Ramseur. Decie loved playing the piano and was the pianist at Ramseur Wesleyan Church for many years. She continued playing the piano for the other residences at Universal Healthcare in Ramseur. Decie was preceded in death by her husband, Howard F. Moody, her parents, Arthur and Pearl Dennis Russell, sisters, Mattie Brown, Agnes Burrow, Grace Teague, Mamie Lee Russell, Margaret Snow, Francis Yow,&nbsp;and brothers, Winfred Russell, Jim Russell, and Doc Russell.</p> <p>Survivors: son, Larry Moody, and wife, Margaret, of Langhorne, PA, sisters, Betty Rodden, and Mildred Oliver, brother, Lee Roy Russell.</p> <p>Visitation, 1 PM to 1:45 PM, Friday, Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur.</p> <p>Condolences may be made online at www.loflinfuneralservice.com.</p> <p>Arrangements by Loflin Funeral Home &amp; Cremation Service, Ramseur.</p> <p>Memorials may be made to Alzheimer&#39;s Association, 4600 Park Rd., #250, Charlotte, NC 28209, ALZ.org.</p>

Decie was a special lady! I always enjoyed singing when she was playing the piano! My dad liked to sing with her playing the piano as well !!
