Maynard, Shirley Mae – 82 of Cambridge, NS, formerly of Middlewood passed away on July 2nd 2022, peacefully in hospital with family by her side.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband Walter of 52 years. Mother Minnie Bollivar of Middlewood, NS. Daughter Audrey of Camperdown, NS, sister Esther of Italy Cross, NS.

She is survived by son Leroy (Belinda) Maynard, daughter Marie (Dennis) Collins of Medicine Hat, AB. Daughter Teresa (Mike) Usher of Cambridge, son Bruce (Marlene) Maynard of Italy Cross, son Kevin (Lisa) Maynard, New Germany, daughter Tammy (Aubrey) Maynard of Bridgewater. As well as her 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren that she loved so dearly.

Cremation has been entrusted to East Coast Memorial in Windsor, ns.

A memorial service in Shirley’s honour will be held at a later date in Middlewood, Nova Scotia.

Mom/Grammie aka “Gram Gram” touched the lives of so many people in so many ways and will be missed so dearly by everyone who knew her.  

She will be sadly missed and always remembered. From now until forever in our hearts. Fly high mom.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any charitable foundation of choice.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors nurses at the VON and the Valley Regional Hospital for their special and attentive care for mom during her time with them. You are very special people.
