Lauro Falcon Carranza Obituary

Lauro Falcon Carranza, 74, of Scott City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at his residence with loved ones beside him.

He was born March 20, 1948, in Castanos, Coahuila, Mexico; son of Ramon Falcon Vasquez and Maria Del Carmen (Carranza) Garza. He and Joann Kollar were united in marriage on January 20, 1983, and she survives.

Lauro was a retiree from Fasco grain elevator in Mendota, IL and a welder. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved spending time with family and making new friends, helping them out in any way he could.

Survivors include his wife Joann of Scott City, MO, children and spouses Mario (Kay) Villalobos, Richard (Connie) Falcon, Daniel Falcon, Laura (Steven) Pence, Echo (Christopher) Garbett, Andrew (Kelly) Falcon, stepchildren Roberto Villalobos, Sonya (Jerome) Wood, Raul Villalobos, and Rachel Villalobos, eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Ludavina, Olivia, Ramon, Blanca, and Raul.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Eloy, a son Lauro J Falcon, and a daughter, Angie Holcomb.

A memorial service will be held July 3rd at 3pm (CST), in person at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 3075 Co Rd 620, North Cape Girardeau MO. It will also be held over video conference; the Zoom ID is: 811 8804 1248 and the Passcode is: LauroF

Cremation arrangements were under the care of Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO.
