Kottmann.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">John was a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">John was a devoted father. He served in the U.S. Navy from July 1957 until July 1963 as a submariner on the U.S.S. George Washington.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">He worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a staff member from June 1966 until his retirement in December 1995.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">John is survived by his daughters, Carole M. Zanone (Husband Jon A. Zanone), Lisa D. McPeek-Brannen (Husband R. Scott Brannen). and sister, Faith F. Somers.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Grandchildren, Jessica M. Cordova, Zachary S.Zanone (Wife, Jaydee L.), Kevin W. McPeek III, and Austin T. Zanone. Great granddaughter, Raelynn M. Zanone, and great grandson,, Logan S. Zanone arriving in September 2022.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Graveside Services will be at noon on Friday, July 1. at Guaje Pines Cemetary, 901 Range Rd. in Los Alamos.</span></span></p>
