Rochester – Kathleen M. Hanley, 59, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born on January 2, 1963 in Malden, Massachusetts, Kathleen was the daughter of the late John and Patricia (O’Leary) Porter. Growing up in Malden, Kathleen graduated from Malden High School in 1981, and went on to hold a managerial position at a local bank for many years. Her biggest passion though, was serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children in the town. Kathleen was a kind caregiver and enjoyed partaking in different activities with the kids. She also enjoyed time spent out camping or watching the Bruins or the Patriots play. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jim Hanley; children, Jeffrey Hanley, Danielle Silva, John Hanley and wife, Crystal, and Kimberly Tenhav and husband, Ryan; sister, Linda Herrick; brother, Raymond Porter; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be from 3 PM – 6 PM on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Grondin Funeral Home, 177 N. Main St. Rochester, NH with a memorial service to follow at 6 PM at the funeral home.
