<p>Cynthia Ellen Dunning<br /> <br /> Cynthia (Cyd) Dunning, 73, of Newark, NY, passed away on June 25, 2022 at home with her family at her side.<br /> <br /> Cyd was born in Syracuse, NY, to Ralph and Patricia Dunning on October 14, 1948. She went to Gloversville High School and went on to earn a degree in English / Sociology from SUNY Potsdam. After college, she relocated to California, first to Marin County and later to Sonoma County. She worked as a transit driver for Santa Rosa, a field technician for Quantum Electronics, and eventually as a technical writer for Medtronics. She volunteered for Stewards of the Coast and loved animals and all types of music, especially The Grateful Dead.<br /> <br /> Cyd is survived by her brother, Terry (Maureen) Dunning, many nieces and countless friends.<br /> <br /> She is preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, Janey Evans.<br /> <br /> Cyd moved back to New York State in 2021 to be near her brother. Cynthia Ellen Dunning

Cynthia (Cyd) Dunning, 73, of Newark, NY, passed away on June 25, 2022 at home with her family at her side.
