Betty Lou Horton, age 75, passed away at her home on June 22, 2022. She is celebrated for her kindness, loving nature, and joyful personality. Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Johnny Horton, and sister, Constance Hensley. She is remembered by her daughter, Tawana Kinsella; son, Shawn (Renee) Horton; grandchildren, Kirsten (Michael) Shumaker, Kinlee (Tyler) Maples, Ethan Horton, Emme Horton; brothers, Alan and Doran Hensley; great grandchildren, Hudson, Bristol, Everlee, Cooper; and many great friends. 

She will join her husband at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. A small private service will be held in her honor at a later date. In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your loved ones; as time waits for no one.
