Edward L. Kovach

Edward L. Kovach, age 65, a native of Monaca passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at his residence. <br>The oldest of six children, Ed was a son of the late Edward and Chlorus (Coe) Kovach. Ed followed in his father’s footsteps of enjoying woodworking and for a number of years owned and operated a home remodeling business. He was also an avid bowler with an 800 score series and 31 perfect 300score games. The family also recalls his love of camping which dates back to his childhood with his cousins during the summer months. His other interests included hunting and fishing. But his greatest love was spending time with his grandkids. <br>Ed leaves his wife, Chanda Kovach; two children, Erica Kovach Barrett and Lindsay (Steve) Koehler.<br>Two step children, Randy and Dionna. His grandchildren: Grant, Blake, Tenley, Vincent and Jace. Four siblings: Scott (Janet) Kovach, Laurie (Gary) Schwarz, Julie (Michael) Martin, Lynn (Jeffery) Keefer and numerous nieces and nephews. <br>In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Kovach. <br>Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 25th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 pm at SIMPSON FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, PA (724 728 4000) where services will follow at 8 pm.<br>To share online condolences, view his video tribute, get directions and other information, please visit Ed’s permanent memorial site at simpsonfuneralhome.com. <br>

Edward L. Kovach, age 65, a native of Monaca passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at his residence.
The oldest of six children, Ed was a son of the late Edward and Chlorus (Coe) Kovach. Ed followed in his father’s footsteps of enjoying woodworking and for a number of years owned and operated a home remodeling business.
