Glenn Albert Simpson

SIMPSON, GLENN ALBERT, age 94, of Waterford, passed away June 20, 2022. He was born on December 19, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, son to the late Albert and Clara Simpson (nee Roeser). Loving husband of Betty for 64 wonderful years. Dear father of David (Jean) Simpson and Peter (Julie) Simpson; proud grandfather Zachary Simpson, Kathleen (David Permut) Simpson and Samantha Simpson; great grandfather of Jordan Permut. Glenn served his Country in the Michigan National Guard. He went on to Work for Consumers Energy for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting, Civil War history, camping, traveling, Crossroads Village Train, boating, but cherished his time with his family and his beloved cats most of all. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, 11:00 AM at Coats Funeral Home- Waterford. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Memorial donations in Glenn’s name may be made to Mercy Hospice or the Wounded Warrior Project.
