On Thursday, February 24, 2011, Bernice (Bienke) de Haan-Eisma went to be with Jesus, her Saviour. Bernice was a faithful servant of her Lord and a beloved wife of Jim (Jelte) de Haan. She was the cherished mother of Aukje (Stuart), Anneke (Thomas), Fred (Joyce), Harry (Heather), Teresa (Josh) and Lisa (Terry). Dearest Beppe to Bernadette, Ryan, Jeremy, Richard, Christopher, Jonathan; Elissa, James; Abigail, Caleb; Amelia (Jeff), Kimberley, Harrison, Valerie, Levi, Clayton, Anna, Conor, Lydia and Danielle. Also remembered by her siblings Tet (Willem) Peterson-Eisma, Eke (Janny) Eisma, her sister-in-law Janny Eisma. Predeceasd by her brothers Bouke Eisma and Jaap Eisma. Also remembered by Akje Renes - de Haan, Lies de Haan, Youkje (Lieuwe) Nicolai-de Haan, Tjitske (Simon), Schoen-de Haan, Etje (Andries) Peterson-de Haan, Margriet (Gerard) de Haan and Jan (Witske) de Haan. The family will receive friends at MCCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME 495 Park Rd., Brantford on Monday, February 28, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be at Hope Christian Reformed Church in Brantford, corner of Dunsdon and Buchanan St., on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
