<p>Peacefully, in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on June 18, 2022 at the age of 71 years. Husband of Catherine. Loving father of Tom (Melissa and her 4 children) and Cynthia. Cherished grandfather of Stuart. Son of the late Thomas and Isabel MacFarlane. Survived by sisters Mavis (Garry Lewis) and Janice (Dave Griffin). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Stuart and Catherine founded MDS MacFarlane Data and Mailing Services in Ottawa. Stuart made many friends through his love of motorcycles. He enjoyed carpentry and recently worked with friends doing renovations. The family wishes to thank the staff of Shawville Hospital for their compassion and care. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care would be appreciated.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Shawville United Church, Shawville, Quebec at 10 a.m. followed by a reception in the Church Hall.</p>Obituary
