Renee Hogges

Face Masks are required when entering the Bragg Funeral Home. Renee Hogges was born on August 10, 1969 in Paterson, NJ. She was the daughter of Essie Hogges and Nathaniel Hughes. On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the age of 52, Renee transitioned from earthly life to join our loving Father in heaven. Renee affectionately known as “Nae Nae” attended Eastside High School. She also worked with the AmeriCorps Program where her love of children and education began. Renee began her educational career in the Paterson Public School System in Paterson, NJ. She was employed for 22 years as a teacher assistant working with Autistic children. Renee was a compassionate person who treated her students like they were her very own. Renee’s vibrant personality and love of life were evident to all the people she met. She was very giving, and I know many of you would agree. She never met a person she was not willing to feed and cooking was one of her favorite past times. Renee’s warm and bubbly personality will be missed by everyone who has ever had the honor of being in her presence. She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother Louise Williams and her beloved grandfather Orange Williams. She leaves to cherish precious memories a loving daughter, Siedah Hogges: her son Wymere Kline, her mother, Essie Hogges; father, Nathanial Hughes; sister, Natasha Veale; sister Marisha Hogges, sister, Naleshia Williams, brother, William Abdulla Williams, her brother-in-law Anthony Veale, two nieces, Dayshrie Hogges, Dannirah Hogges, two nephews, K’mari Williams, Isaiah Veale, two dear friends, Lisa Anne Leary, and Rosie Cox and a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors.
