<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">On Sunday, June 19, 2022, our beloved James Henry Lewis, Jr., entered into eternal rest at his home in Auburn, Georgia, at the age of 59.&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>James &ldquo;Jr. Boy&rdquo; Lewis, Jr. </strong>was born to the late Hattie Bell and James Henry Lewis, Sr., on November 26, 1962.&nbsp; He was educated in the public schools of Kershaw County where he enjoyed playing basketball for the Rec Center and the Canteen.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">James was a very outspoken and open-minded person. If it was on his mind to say it, he was going to say it. He was very adventurous. He loved music and loved to dance.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">James moved to Georgia from Camden, SC, in 2009, where he took on a new journey of life.&nbsp; He became employed at&nbsp; Latham Pool Company of Suwanee, GA for many years until he became sick and was unable to work.&nbsp; &nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">He joined eternal life with his son, Antron &ldquo;Troy&rdquo; Johnson; his sister, Carrol &ldquo;Carlane&rdquo; Lewis; his niece, Lateisha &ldquo;Shawn&rdquo; Lewis and his nephews, Marvin &ldquo;Nell&rdquo; Thompson and Jerome &ldquo;Rome&rdquo; Thompson.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:20px;">He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Cherish Thomas of&nbsp; Lugoff, SC and Jamie Jackson of Camden, SC; step-sons, Damaren and Delen Montgomery of Norcross, GA; three grandsons Trayvon Johnson of Camden, SC, Brodrick and Braquan Wilson of Lugoff SC; a step-father, Billy Johnson of Camden SC; three brothers, Marvin (Marylene) Lewis of Lancaster, SC, Melvin Lewis of Baltimore MD and Christopher Ellis of&nbsp; Camden, SC; a sister, Barbara (Richard) Johnson of Columbia, SC; two aunts, Alleen (Mack) Harris of Washington, DC and Christen Cook of Camden, SC; one uncle; Robert Chambers of Columbia, SC; two special cousins who grew up in the same house with him and was known of more like sisters: Beverly Drakeford and Ulanda Cooke both of Camden, SC; special nieces and nephews that he helped raised, Larry, Ashley, Markeil, Malayaja, Destiney, Za&rsquo;Marion and Za&rsquo;Vion all of Camden, SC; two special great nieces that&rsquo;s also his God daughters; Londyn and Khylie Jones of Camden, SC; four special cousins, Latanya Harris of Washington, DC, Johnathan (Cynthia)&nbsp;Green, Keith Gilliam of GA and Willie Greene of Lugoff, SC; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth &ldquo;Chubby&rdquo; Johnson and Richard Johnson both of Camden, SC; he also leave his charitable memories with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.&nbsp;</span><br /> &nbsp;</p>

Obituary

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, our beloved James Henry Lewis, Jr., entered into eternal rest at his home in Auburn, Georgia, at the age of 59. 

James “Jr. Boy” Lewis, Jr. was born to the late Hattie Bell and James Henry Lewis, Sr., on November 26, 1962.  He was educated in the public schools of Kershaw County where he enjoyed playing basketball for the Rec Center and the Canteen.  

James was a very outspoken and open-minded person. If it was on his mind to say it, he was going to say it. He was very adventurous. He loved music and loved to dance.    

James moved to Georgia from Camden, SC, in 2009, where he took on a new journey of life.  He became employed at  Latham Pool Company of Suwanee, GA for many years until he became sick and was unable to work.   

He joined eternal life with his son, Antron “Troy” Johnson; his sister, Carrol “Carlane” Lewis; his niece, Lateisha “Shawn” Lewis and his nephews, Marvin “Nell” Thompson and Jerome “Rome” Thompson.
