Hannah Flaherty Obituary

Hannah Anne Flaherty, 14, of Portland, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 in Stratton ME. Born April 10th 2008, exactly one year after the passing of her paternal grandmother Sandra Anne Flaherty, she is survived by her mother, Sarah Jordan, step-father Nick Jordan, brother Jonathon Flaherty and sister Tristan Flaherty all of Stratton, father Keith Flaherty, step-mother Vicki McCoubrey, half sister Ava Flaherty and step-brothers Matthew, Adam and Noah Hand, all of Portland, and grandparents David Trucksess, Lisa Lussier, Sally Glass and John Flaherty. She also had so many aunts and uncles and cousins that she loved and loved her dearly. She was a wonderful, happy child who is missed terribly by all. She loved adventures and singing and making music with any stringed instrument she could find. Hannah thrived at Wavus Camp for the past 4 years and made so many memories on great adventures with her cabin there. She was so strong, always helping those around her. She will always be remembered for her kindness to others.
“This is not yours to fix alone. You act like you’re all alone out there in the world, but you’re not. You’re not alone.” -Joyce Byers, Stranger Things
“You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them...In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night...You - only you - will have stars that can laugh.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, El Principito
