Dale E. Parrish, age 75, of Edmore, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Sparrow Carson Hospital in Carson City.

Dale proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1967 to 1971. He was an over the road truck driver who loved going on cross country trips with his wife, Sheila. When he wasn’t on the road, Dale enjoyed going to tractor shows and parades and loved antique tractors, especially, Olivers. He also liked watching his grandchildren at their sporting events and activities.

Surviving Dale is his wife, Sheila; daughters, Jennifer Maxted and Amy (Chris) Deakin; sons, David Maxted, Jr. and Nick (Megan) Maxted; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, George Parrish; and several nieces and nephews. Dale’s family would also like to extend a big thank you to Rachel Cole and the staff at the Laurels of Carson for their special care.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, George & Viola (Hillard) Parrish; son, Doug Maxted; daughter, Dawn Parrish; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Dale’s life is being celebrated on Saturday, June 11th at 11:30 AM at the Sheridan VFW Post (209 Washington St.).
