Iris M Brearton

Iris M. Brearton, age 92, of Brewster, NY. passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011.
Iris was born on May 17, 1918 in New Vernon, NJ to the late Ira and Myrtle (Snyder) Lawson.
She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Robert in Jan 2001. Iris graduated from Brewster HS.
Most of all Iris will be remembered for being a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother
and wonderful friend. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her family.
Iris is survived by her two loving children Robert (Noreen) Brearton of New Fairfield, CT and Nancy Brearton of Dunedin, FL;
Her 7 cherished grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Blaney of Baskin Ridge, NJ.
A graveside ceremony to celebrate Iris' life will be held on Sat. April 2 at 10:30am at St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery in Brewster, NY.
Family may receive friends on Wed. March 30, 2011 between the hours of 3 and 7 pm at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave. Brewster, NY 10509.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Iris' name to Hospice Care of Westchester & Putnam, 540 White Plains Rd. Suite 300, Tarrytown, NY 10591.
She will be greatly missed.
